Flight Software Engineer

Perform software development in support of Boeing's participation in the NASA-led flight software development effort.  Candidates will have embedded software development experience covering multiple phases of the software lifecycle.  Understanding of MIL-STD-1553B network protocols, Ethernet communications, Unified Modeling Language (UML) 2.0, C/C++ programming, and development in a DO-178B-compliant partitioned RTOS environment is highly desired.

Familiarity with Guidance, Navigation & Control (GN&C), redundancy management, command and telemetry processing, and failure detection, diagnostics, and recovery is also highly desired.  Candidates will have experience developing space flight software and knowledge of the associated processes for ensuring mission success in the manned space flight domain.
