Test Engineer

Perform testing in support of Integrated Avionics System Testing at the Systems Integration Test Facility (SITF) and the Ares I Systems Integration Laboratory (SIL). Candidates should have specific experience in Avionics Functional Test or Hardware/Software Integration.  Understanding of MIL-STD-1553B network protocols, avionics test equipment and test methods is essential. Familiarity with other network topologies and data standards, including RS-422, RS-485, and Ethernet is highly desired. Possess experience testing space flight hardware and software and knowledge of the associated processes for ensuring safe space flight. Have demonstrated leadership experience, specifically exhibiting the leadership attributes required for leading teams in the conduct of complex spacecraft testing.
